Maryzelle Ungo is a Salvadorena healer and multi-instrumentalist devoted to bridging sound, spirit, and ancestral wisdom. With a BA in Music from Mills College, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, a certification in Energy Healing, and soon a completed Curanderismo Training Certificate, she has cultivated a path that honors both modern wellness practices and her ancestral Indigenous roots.
Maryzelle honors the traditions of cacao, ceremony, and earth medicine, creating sacred spaces that invite deep connection, heart opening, and spiritual activation. Her offerings are ceremonies of sound, where ancestral practices merge with the science and artistry of vibration.
As a full-time musician, Maryzelle’s artistry spans sound healing, DJing, drumming, singing, and bass playing, infusing her sessions with a rare depth of musicality. She has toured nationally as a drummer, lights up dance floors as a DJ, and channels her gifts through crystal bowls, gongs, drums, and voice in her sound journeys.
She is the co-founder of Sound Healing for the People, a community initiative offering free sound healing and energy work for underserved populations. The project is rooted in accessibility and social impact, partnering with San Francisco City Hall, the Veterans War Memorial, and Phoenix Addiction Recovery to bring trauma-informed healing to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, veterans, and those in recovery.
With one foot in the world of music and the other grounded in ancestral healing, Maryzelle’s work is both ancient and contemporary. Whether in intimate ceremonies, expansive soundbaths, or on the dance floor, she invites people to return home to themselves, attune to the wisdom of their bodies, and reconnect with the greater web of life.
