Meera Dhawan is an Indian-American Trauma-Informed Yoga educator (500 E-RYT) and therapist-in-training (MFT/PCC) whose work centers on Yoga as a tool for the mind. Introduced to Yoga and Ayurveda by her grandmother during childhood visits to India, Meera’s path is rooted in lived tradition and shaped by a deep commitment to healing. She leads an annual Pranayama training (YACE) for Yoga teachers, therapists, and healers looking to share breath practices through a culturally grounded and personalized lens. Whether working one-on-one, teaching in Yoga teacher trainings, or holding space in workshops and retreats, Meera blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic tools in an integrative, person-centered approach. Guided by her mentors Prasad Rangnekar, Melissa Shah, and others, her work is grounded in social justice and dedicated to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported to reconnect with their inner knowing.
